Master the essentials and learn leading-edge skills to advance your career and add value to the properties in your real estate portfolio. IREM® accredited courses are available locally in partnership with the University of Witwatersrand. All certification is
recognised internationally.
Course update: the first block, in the four-part series of courses, allows you to become a Certified Property Manager®️. It will be entirely online, using IREM’s Learning Management System. If you live outside Johannesburg, you can now participate from the comfort of your home after working hours.
In response to the challenges faced by recent events, IREM South Africa Gauteng Chapter no.123 has launched a relief fund to support our community. The purpose of the fund is to support members who have been financially impacted by COVID-19, whether by layoff, illness, or illness of a family member, member dues relief where COVID-19 has prevented a member from paying dues, relief funds for local non-profits directly impacted by COVID-19, relief funds for small businesses directly impacted by COVID-19.
To support our community, the IREM Foundation will match the first $1000 raised. This means every dollar you donate will go further in support of local charities, businesses, and IREM members affected by the pandemic. Click here for more information.

Through the many challenges and changes the property management industry has faced this year, IREM continues to look to tomorrow. We are launching valuable new online learning offerings that reflect the remote/hybrid work model our members now expect. We are expanding our reach globally and connecting the dots to support and unite our members. With a greater global reach, we can make the world a little smaller and a little less anonymous by building and maintaining global relationships. With that said, I am honoured to serve as 2023 President of the Institute!
